Turn a local search snapshot into a business-profile audit and a developer-ready site plan.
$999 USD · one-time. View purchase detailsBuilt for: A local service business or the agency responsible for its search presence.
Your first deliverable
a local visibility report with observation gaps and the next page decisions.
You supply local rank observations and business facts. The workflow does not fetch Maps rankings, edit profiles or publish pages.
A local search report with its gaps visible
Method in the package · synthetic examples
Bring your own observations. The report explains the sampled market and turns review findings into a page queue.
- Coverage
- Keep missing grid observations separate from observed rank results.
- Business profile
- Review the supplied profile evidence and name the correction owner.
- Site plan
- Give the developer a prioritized page queue supported by the observed gaps.
See START-HERE.md and examples/expected-report.md. A synthetic example demonstrates the method; the tool does not fetch live Maps rankings.

Check the fit before buying
A local service business or the agency responsible for its search presence.
- Python 3 and a business location/service brief
- Your own rank-grid observations or licensed export; optional providers use your account
Start with the included example, replace its fictional inputs with your permitted evidence, then review the output. Setup and evidence collection determine the effort; no first-run duration is promised.
This purchase is not a fit if you need someone to operate the workflow for you. Consulting, setup calls and committed support hours are not included.
Updates for the life of the product are requested by email. For access help or questions about your use case and licence, email jake@jakebauman.io before buying.
Read the package documentation
What follows is the README from inside the zip, unedited. The page and the package say the same thing on purpose.
$999 once. Original DIY local-search suite, version 1.1.0. Turn an authorized local rank-grid export, business facts, Search Console data and public-page evidence into a 30-competitor visibility audit, factual Google Business Profile review and implementable page architecture.
The package includes an offline analysis engine, a fixed rank-grid importer, a 30-slot competitor sampling worksheet, 13 evidence-based profile checks, page hierarchy/canonicals/internal links/section briefs/acceptance tests, English Search Console CSV import, an optional real Search Console API adapter, and optional Firecrawl public-page capture. Python 3.10+ standard library; no installation or included subscriptions.
The buyer supplies permission and actual evidence. Optional API commands require a separate explicit flag and an existing buyer token entered invisibly in an interactive terminal. No environment files, accounts or credentials are discovered. Firecrawl usage can consume the buyer's existing credits and requires explicit cost acceptance. No purchase, account creation, OAuth grant, listing edit or publication is performed.
Start without API costs
python3 tools/analyze.py --input examples/input.json --output first-grid-report
python3 tools/build_local_suite.py --input examples/suite/input.json --gsc examples/suite/gsc.json --pages examples/suite/pages.json --output first-suite-report
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -vAll examples are synthetic. The legacy grid demonstration contains 30 fictional competitors. The new suite example deliberately contains only one sampled competitor and 11 unknown profile checks, so it stays incomplete. Its useful output is a reviewable homepage revision and distinct service-page brief, not a claim about an actual business.
Follow START-HERE.md, then SOURCE-COLLECTION.md for buyer-owned sources and SUITE-CONTRACT.md for the final handoff. templates/competitor-sampling.csv has 30 blank slots. Never relabel fictional evidence as customer evidence.
Boundaries
This is a DIY tool and procedure, not an operated monitoring service or implementation engagement. It does not supply rank-provider access, automatically discover all competitors, edit profiles, solicit reviews, build/publish pages or guarantee rankings/leads. A place-search result order is never treated as a local grid rank. Search Console average position is a separate organic-search metric. Thirty sampled businesses never establish a complete market census.
The adapters are implemented against official provider contracts and tested with network-blocked fixtures; no real buyer account integration was exercised for this release. API responses, current provider policies and source facts still need buyer verification. See ACCEPTANCE.md and EVIDENCE-AND-SAFETY.md for evidence and limits.
