What this site collects, and how to make it stop.

Your email address, when you type it in: to download a free kit, to subscribe to the weekly brief, or at checkout. Nothing on this site asks for a name, a phone number, or a company.

Payment details are entered on Stripe's own page and never touch this site. Stripe sends back your email address, the product bought, and a session reference. I never see a card number.

If you use the chat widget, the messages you type and the page you were on are stored so I can reply, along with any email address you give it.

Ordinary web analytics: which pages were visited and roughly where from. No cookies are set for advertising and nothing here is sold or shared for advertising.

Providing the files you asked for by link on the page. When email delivery is available, the site may also send the links to your address.

Marketing messages require a separate opt-in. A download or purchase alone does not grant newsletter consent.

The weekly brief and occasional product notes arrive only if you opt in. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe link.

Refunds and receipts, which need the address you paid with.

Email addresses and delivery records are stored in an analytics database I run. Klaviyo processes requested-resource events and consented marketing. Resend processes transactional and fallback file-delivery email. If you opt into the newsletter, Buttondown may also hold the subscription as the build-notes mirror. Payment records are held by Stripe. Chat transcripts are held by Crisp and mirrored to the analytics database.

Unsubscribing adds your address to a do-not-email record. Signup and payment records may remain so I can account for delivery, refunds, and requests about your data.

Click the link at the bottom of any email. It works without a login and it is not followed by a survey.
